AutoClean dispenser drawer – patented*
The AutoClean detergent dispenser is rinsed with a
series of powerful jets of water after every wash
programme. This removes any detergent residue
thoroughly. The particularly smooth surface finish assists the
rinsing process. This ensures that the dispenser compartment
remains clean.
Drum lighting
Miele washer-dryers feature LED drum lighting. The
maintenance-free power LEDs illuminate the Miele honeycomb
drum so perfectly that you can no longer overlook any laundry
items. Simply convenient - and looking good!
Enamelled front
Miele is the only manufacturer of domestic electric appliances to
enamel the front panels of all washing machines, tumble dryers
and washer-dryers. The high-quality enamel is scratch-proof,
corrosion-proof, alkaline-resistant, impervious to acids, easy to
clean and colour-fast.
Express
Miele's washer-dryers have an Express program that allows you
to freshen your favourite shirts up quickly for wear again straight
away. This is possible with Miele's patented wash process.
Thermal-spinning before the drying cycle also ensures a fast and
efficient drying process.
Extra quiet
The "Extra quiet" option can be added to many
programmes. The machine then washes with a
particularly low-noise wash rhythm and activates the
"Rinse hold" and "Without spin" functions. Your Miele washer-
dryer then operates even quieter. This is of use when, for
example, the machine is run at night time or it is installed close to
the living area.
Fluff flushing
Fluff remaining inside the machine after the drying cycle is
completely rinsed out in this programme. Condenser channel,
suds container and drum are completely lint-free within a few
minutes. This safely prevents discolouring of textiles through fluff
carry-over.
Load-size indicator and dispensing recommendation
This intelligent function assists you in preventing overloading of
the washer-dryer and also in dispensing the right amount of
detergent. The appliance detects the current load and indicates
how much more laundry can be placed in the machine. You are
also given a recommendation in the display on the correct amount
of detergent for the load. This allows you to always wash in an
environmentally friendly manner and achieve the best results.
Sensor-controlled drying
Miele washer-dryers ensure that drying results are always perfect.
Sensors on the entire body of the drum and on the door glass are
in contact with the laundry and measure the current residual
moisture. The drying cycle is terminated at the correct time, when
your laundry is dried to perfection.
Smoothing with steam
Miele washer-dyers feature steam. This simplifies ironing: in the
Freshen up programme, only briefly worn but slightly creased
garments can be smoothed and freshened up. In special
programs the smoothing function gives a particularly crease
free result – this reduces the need for ironing.
Stainless-steel suds container
The suds container is particularly robust and hygienic. It is
supported by shock absorbers and four suspension springs, and
is weighed down with cast-iron counterweights. This is Miele
perfection for minimum wear and tear, and durability. Even at high
spin speeds the appliance remains stable and safe.
Stains removal
Up to 22 different types of stains can be treated in a
Miele washer-dryer – up to three types of stains at the
same time. Simply add the respective programme option
– and the wash programme is adjusted accordingly to suit the
specific stain. The integrated stain-removal guide in the display
advises how to tackle the stain in question efficiently. This is only
available from Miele.
Thermo spin
Before the drying cycle commences, the textiles are tumbled in a
current of warm air while the spin speed is gradually increased.
This results in the water content in your laundry being reduced
before the actual drying cycle begins – this saves time and
electricity.
Washing at low temperatures
Thanks to advanced wash and highly efficient technology from
Miele, the cycle temperature can be reduced to 20°C or even to
‘Cold’ in most programmes. If laundry is only slightly soiled, the
temperature can be reduced and energy saved.
Waterproof Metal (WPM)
With the water level sensor and float switch, the WPM
offers the highest level of protection against flooding
and water damage. The inlet hose is metal-braided
which protects from external damage. This space-saving water
safety system is particularly practical for washer-dryers which are
often installed in confined spaces.
