Tested for the equivalent of 20 years' use
Miele carries out intensive endurance tests during the
development phase in order to meet the highest quality
standards. In this test the appliances are tested to wash for
10,000 hours. A mix of approx. 5,000 programmes are selected
during these operating hours. Based on the average amount of
daily laundry collated, this equates to approx. five wash loads per
week, each wash with an average programme duration of 2 hours
- over 20 years.
TwinDos
Dispensing completely automatically - TwinDos offers 2
options for this: you either fill liquid detergent or fabric
conditioner in the supplied containers or you use Miele’s
2-Phase-System. For maximum efficiency, TwinDos dispenses
UltraPhase 1 and UltraPhase 2 at the appropriate time in the wash
process. Whites or coloureds - TwinDos plus 2-Phase-System
achieves the highest level of wash performance and offers the
best liquid detergent system available on the market at the touch
of a button.
Wash Assistant
If you do not know which programme is the most suitable one for
a specific textile, the Miele Wash Assistant can help: simply enter
the type of textile, the colour and desired spin result – and the
electronic module establishes the most suitable programme. You
always achieve a perfect wash result with the Wash Assistant.
Water Control System (WCS)
The Water Control System (WCS) monitors the water
intake with a water level sensor. Water intake is
automatically terminated if the normal water level is not
reached. If there is water leakage inside the machine, the inlet
valve inside the appliance is closed and the water and suds
container is drained off. A float switch in the drip tray also
recognises leaking water.
WaterProof System (WPS)
The WPS Water Protection System features a double
solenoid valve directly at the stopcock. In the event that
the first valve is defect, the second one stops the flow of
water. The sheathed inlet hose also ensures the highest level of
safety: in the event of a defect in the inlet hose, water flows down
the outer sleeve into the drip tray. Just as the WCS, the WPS also
features intelligent sensor technology: leakages are recognised
and the water intake is terminated.
Professional Balance System
During the spin cycle, a Miele washing machine
recognises if the laundry load is not distributed evenly
inside the drum. Then intelligent drum action ensures
that the textiles, including large items, are evenly and optimally
distributed. This guarantees a steady spin cycle and best spin
performance.
ProfiEco motor
Experience extraordinarily powerful motors in Miele
washing machines. The ProfiEco motor from Miele is
also economical and quiet. It is sparing when it comes
to electricity, and is maintenance-free. For efficient and
convenient washing for many years.
ProgrammeManager
The settings in the ProgrammeManager allow you to
adapt the wash process to suit your personal
requirements.
Intensive: an even better wash performance – achieved in
standard programme cycle times. ECO: particularly energy
efficient without compromising wash performance. Extremely
gentle: max. fabric care and reduced need for ironing. Extra quiet:
low sound emissions thanks to special wash rhythm and “Rinse
hold”. AllergoWash: high deactivation of pathogens for sensitive
skin
SoftSteam honeycomb drum with pre-ironing
If the “Pre-ironing” option is selected, the drum is heated after the
final spin cycle. This has a smoothing effect and loosens the
laundry which can then be easily removed. And most importantly:
this makes ironing much easier and faster.
Stain removal

Up to 23 different types of stains can be treated in a
Miele washing machine – up to three types of stains at
the same time. Simply add the respective programme
option – and the wash programme is adjusted accordingly to suit
the specific stain. The integrated stain-removal guide in the
display advises how to tackle the stain in question efficiently. This
is only available from Miele.
SteamCare

SteamCare from Miele smoothes your textiles gently and
effectively with the assistance of steam – even before
the load leaves the washing machine! The need for
ironing is verifiably reduced by up to 50%

. Some textiles do not
require ironing at all after this treatment. With “Steam smoothing”,
you can wash and smooth your clothing in one process. With
“SteamFinish” you can treat already washed textiles.
