9 Using the sealing levels There are 3 levels for sealing vacuum bags. The higher the sealing level, the longer the duration of the sealing process. As a rule of thumb, the thicker the material you are using to pack the food, the higher the sealing level you need to select. We recommend level 3 when using Miele vacuum sealing bags. Level 2 is sucient if you are carrying out several sealing processes one after the other.
