64 Drying assistant If you do not know which programme is the most suitable one for drying your laundry, the Miele Drying Assistant can help. Enter the type of textile and the desired level of drying. You can also determine if you want your laundry to dry particularly quickly, gently or energy- efficiently. The electronic module automatically selects the most suitable programme. This ensures that a perfect drying result is achieved – safely and certainly. EcoDry technology Miele EcoDry technology guarantees long-term low energy consumption and short drying times. Thanks to the effective interaction between the Miele filter system and the maintenance-free heat exchanger, fluff cannot clog up the heat exchanger, which can cause blockages and reduce power output over time. With EcoDry, Miele heat-pump dryers constantly work economically – throughout the entire service life of the appliance. EcoFeedback The Eco feedback function helps you to dry as economically as possible. Before the selected programme starts, you receive an energy consumption forecast. The actual consumption is displayed during and after drying. This value will vary depending on the load. This allows you, on the basis of accurate data, to protect the environment and save money. Filter saturation is also indicated. Enamelled front Miele enamels the front panels of all washing machines, tumble dryers, and washer-dryers. The high-quality enamel is scratch-proof, corrosion-proof, alkaline-resistant, impervious to acids, easy to clean, and colour-fast. This keeps appliances looking as good as they did when first purchased. A family-run company in the south of France, which has been creating perfumes since 1871, produces fragrances for Miele. Using a patented process their perfume specialists ensure that the essential oils in the perfume are preserved. The result: pleasantly fresh and natural fragranced laundry for up to 4 weeks. German engineered and tested for the equivalent of 20 years‘ average usage Miele carries out intensive endurance tests during the development phase in order to meet the highest quality standards. In this test the appliances are expected to dry laundry for 7,500 hours. This involves running a mix of approximately 5,000 programmes. This corresponds to approx. 5 programmes per week with an average cycle time of 1.5 hours – over 20 years. Anti-crease If you cannot remove your textiles immediately after the drying programme has finished, the anti-crease action ensures that the items are loosened up at regular intervals to minimise creasing. Best condensation rating An important quality criteria for tumble dryers is that the entire unit is leak-proof. The less hot moisture-laden air leaking from the tumble dryer, the better the condensation effect. High evaporation losses in closed rooms are also very unpleasant: condensation on walls can result in mould and damage to the building. Convenient fluff filter With Miele’s intelligent fluff filter you are finally rid of inconvenient fluff. Furthermore, the fluff filter is also particularly convenient: when the “Clean out airways” reminder appears in the display, the Miele fluff filter is simply pulled out at the front. The smooth filter surface makes cleaning easy. Fluff filter and laundry are always kept separate – for guaranteed fluff-free textiles. Delay start and countdown indicator The delay start feature allows you to determine when you want the next programme to start. This is particularly useful if you want to use off-peak electricity or, for example, when you want a programme to finish when you come home from work. You can programme the start of a programme up to 24 hours in advance. The display also informs you of the time the current programme will finish. Door hinged on the right or left On select Miele tumble dryers,the door hinges can be relocated to suit your individual requirements perfectly during installation. If you have a washer-dryer stack, for example, both doors open in the same direction. Drum lighting All Miele tumble dryers have drum lighting, many of them with maintenance-free LEDs.
