With the patented 1) 1-2 Lift System, the entire appliance, consisting of a hand iron, ironing table and steam generator, can be set up in only two sweeping movements. Unlock and allow the ironing table to slide into a horizontal position until it engages - almost like magic. Active ironing board The inflation function ensures that items are ironed particularly gently, and the suction function delivers a more intensive steam application. Pressing the steam button on the iron activates the suction or inflation function of the ironing table, and switches it automatically off when not in use. The memory function saves the last selected setting and reactivates it when steam is required again. Automatic rinsing Mineral residue left behind by the evaporation process must be regularly removed by rinsing the steam generator to ensure consistent appliance performance. The FashionMaster calculates rinse intervals automatically based on the volume of water evaporated. The rinsing process will then commence automatically immediately after switching the appliance on. The only matter to take care of is to empty the residual water container. AutoOff function When the iron or Steam Jet is not used for approximately 15 minutes, the entire appliance switches off automatically. There is no need to worry if you have forgotten to switch the iron off. Castors Mobile and nimble: the FashionMaster stands firmly without requiring additional support even when folded together, and can be positioned anywhere in your home. With its floor-friendly rollers, the appliance can be moved effortlessly wherever you need it. Thresholds, carpet edges and even single steps do not pose a problem. CoolDown function Safety is always high on the agenda at Miele: consequently, movement sensors and monitoring of controls ensure that the hand iron switches off automatically after it has not been used for approximately 3 minutes. As soon as a movement is detected, the appliance switches on again. Display The display enables you to keep track of appliance settings. It also informs you sufficiently early and reliably if, for example, descaling is required or the water tank needs replenishing. Guided descaling After you have keyed in the water hardness before using the appliance, the programme automatically determines the required descaling cycle and displays a timely reminder. You start the descaling programme simply by pressing a button. The appliance will prompt you to add a descaling tablet, and then start the programme automatically. Guided first-time use Before using the FashionMaster for the first time, the programme guides you through the most important settings. You simply select in which language you would like information to be displayed, and key in the water hardness. The appliance automatically calculates the right descaling cycle. This ensures that your FashionMaster is well maintained. Unlike conventional irons, with the patented honeycomb soleplate steam is distributed in next to no time along a network of narrow channels across the entire soleplate. Infinite height adjustment With convenient and infinite height adjustment, you can set the ironing table exactly to your individual working height. Supported by a built-in gas pressure stay, the ironing table can be conveniently adjusted to a working height between 83 and 102 cm. Inflation function For items to be smoothed but not pressed, the FashionMaster ironing board offers an inflation function. The fan creates an air cushion between the item being ironed and the table, perfect for ironing frills and cashmere pullovers. The same function prevents seam and hem impressions. Ironing multi-layered items Save physical effort and time. With the FashionMaster, multi-layered and dense textiles now only require to be ironed on one side, not on both. The large quantity of steam and high steam pressure applied can penetrate even thick, dense material such as denim. This makes ironing on both sides unnecessary. Large ironing table with ComfortZone With a 120 x 40 cm large ironing table, there is sufficient space for even entire trouser legs. The ComfortZone at the narrow end of the ironing table is designed to iron the entire front of a blouse or shirt in a single process without having to re-position the shoulder area.
