The user interfaces on Miele washing machines and tumble dryers are logically and intuitively structured: a convenient rotary control for wash or drying programmes, clearly and concisely arranged sensor controls for additional functions. The most frequently used settings can be pre-selected. This enables you to start a programme quickly and easily. The various Miele appliance categories offer you different types of user interfaces – but all in the same design. This enables you to combine a washing machine and a tumble dryer from different Miele appliance categories that visually complement each other perfectly. DirectSensor Simple operation at the touch of a fingertip: functions are selected using sensor controls. An international jury awarded the W1 Classic and the T1 Classic machines, which both feature DirectSensor controls, the 2017 iF product design award.
