Alongside temperature, which should be no more than 55°C it is above all, water hardness that influences cleaning results. Miele’s Brilliant GlassCare valve provides the ideal blend of soft and hard/raw tap water. During the first intake cycle, the valve is closed allowing all water to pass through the softening solution. This removes calcium and magnesium. To prevent the water from becoming too soft, the valve opens and allows a proportion of the water to bypass the softener, delivering unsoftened/raw water to the wash.
