WaterControl System (WCS) The WaterControl System monitors the water intake with a level sensor. Water intake is automatically terminated if the normal water level is not reached within a specified time. If there is water leakage inside the machine, the inlet valve inside the appliance is closed and the water and suds container is drained off. A float switch in the drip tray also recognises any leaking water. Waterproof Metal (WPM) With the water level sensor and float switch, the WPM system offers the highest level of protection against flooding and water damage. The inlet hose is metal-braided which protects from external damage. This space saving system is particularly practical for washer-dryers which are often installed in confined spaces. Waterproof System (WPS) The Waterproof System features a double solenoid valve directly at the tap. In the event that the first valve is faulty, the second one stops the flow of water. The sheathed inlet hose also ensures the highest level of safety. In the event of a faulty inlet hose, water flows down the outer sleeve into the drip tray. Just like the WCS the Waterproof System also features intelligent sensor technology. Leakages are recognised and the water intake is terminated. ProfiEco Motor¹ ⁾ The ProfiEco Motor from Miele is economical and quiet. As the motor is electronically controlled, it does not require carbon brushes, which makes it maintenance free for efficient and convenient washing for many years. PowerWash 2.0 Appliances with PowerWash 2.0 wash up to 40%² ) more economically than is required for the highest energy efficiency class, and can achieve this with moderate cycle times. Small loads are washed economically too. This is possible thanks to the Spin&Spray technology which works with a very low water level and saves heating energy. On small loads the capacity is calculated precisely using data from the motor. SingleWash SingleWash is an extra option that can be added to many programmes. The appliance optimally adapts programme duration, water and energy consumption for loads up to 1kg. Washing individual items has never been so quick and economical. Stains Some models have up to 23 different types of stain options that can be given targeted treatment in your Miele washing machine – up to 3 types of stains at the same time.
