Miele Induction Cooktops A bit more! The right pots To get the best out of your induction cooktop it is essential that you use cookware of a high quality that transfer heat efficiently. If pots of a low quality are used, there may be excessive vibration and noise, as well as inefficient transfer of heat, resulting in poor performance. Miele have teamed up with Iitala as a trusted manufacturer of induction cookware. These items are made using high quality material and tested by our factories in Germany. Ventilation requirements Unfortunately the majority of calls our technicians attend to regarding induction cooktops are due to no ventilation under the cooktop. It is very important to always follow the installation instructions when installing any induction cooktop. If the ventilation requirements are not met, the electronics in the unit may overheat resulting in faults or complete failure of the machine. Manufacturing Miele conduct all research, development and manufacturing of induction cooktops at their Bunde production site located in Germany. Some specific componentry may be outsourced such as the ceramic glass but all cooktops are fitted out with Miele made electronics and go through an end of life test at the Bunde site. Flush mount installation recommendations Miele recommend flush mount induction cooktops to be installed in natural stone (granite, marble), solid wood or tiled worktops only. When installing into a worktop made from any other material, please check first with the manufacturer that it is suitable for a flush-mounted cooktop. 225 Laundry Rangehood & Cooktop Refrigeration Floorcare Contact Dishwashers Gen 7000 Built-In Appliances
