217 Miele coffee machines Black tea Black tea is closely related to green tea and only differs in the way it is prepared. Using approx. 2 g of tea per cup and about 2 to 3 minutes brewing time it can be enjoyed either black, in the British style with milk, or with a little lemon juice. Café au lait The French Cafè au lait is usually served in a bowl and consists of coffee and hot milk froth. Flat White The Flat White is a special variety of cappuccino. The milk is frothed until its pores are very fine which results in a very thin and frothy surface on the espresso. Caffè Americano Different to a Long Black, a Caffè Americano is made by first pouring espresso and then hot water into the cup. Green tea Thanks to its caffeine content, green tea is an excellent fast-working pick-me-up. Tea can be enjoyed after only 1-2 minutes brewing time. With multiple brews, brewing time and flavour can vary. Long Black A Long Black is produced with a double espresso poured into hot water. Fruit tea Fruit teas come in a vast variety, from teas made from one type of plant species such as rose hip to a colourful fruit mix, everything is possible. The aroma develops best with a brewing time of between 5 - 10 minutes. Hot milk / Milk froth Hot milk and milk froth can be enjoyed as it is or with cocoa powder as a chocolate drink. Herbal tea Whether for indulgence reasons, or as an aid to get well again, herbal teas should be stored cool and dry and after pouring hot water on them, they should steep for approx. 5 - 8 minutes. This ensures that vitamins, minerals and trace elements are retained. * depending on model
