Side-by-side installation This appliance may be installed “side-by-side” with another suitable MasterCool refrigerator or freezer. In the event that two or more appliances have been purchased, with the intention to install in a side-by-side combination with less than 160 mm gap between each unit, an additional electronic device (KSK 2001 installation kit) must be purchased and fitted between any adjoining units. This device is designed to prevent condensation build up between the units, and must be installed during the installation process. If the appliances are to be installed next to each other without a partition wall between them, they will need to be joined together using the KSK 2001 installation kit which comes supplied with all of the fixings required. The side-by-side kit does not add any addition width to the appliance dimensions. Note: It is not recommended to install two MasterCool units as outlined in the below diagrams. If installing units in these configurations, customization of the cabinetry will be required to account for the door openings. Additional space between appliances will be required to prevent doors from striking when opened. Electrical connection All electrical work should be carried out by a suitably qualified and competent person in strict accordance with current local and national safety regulations. The appliance is supplied with a 3 m mains cable and moulded plug ready for connection to an AC single phase 220 – 240 V 50 Hz supply. The fuse rating must be at least 10 A. Refer to installation instructions for position of electrical mains cable on appliance. The appliance should not be plugged into a socket located directly behind the appliance. The accessibility of the plug must always be ensured in order to be able to quickly disconnect the appliance from the supply. Do not connect the appliance to the mains electricity supply by a multi-socket unit or an extension lead. These do not guarantee the required safety of the appliance (e.g. danger of overheating).
