62 Layered apple dessert Serves 6 | Preparation time: 35 minutes Ingredients For the dessert: 4 sharp apples 50 g caster sugar 50 ml apple juice 125 g sponge fingers 40 ml Calvados 200 g mascarpone cheese 250 g low-fat quark 150 ml milk, 3.5% fat For the garnish: 3 sponge finger biscuits | crumbled Accessories: Glass bowl, capacity 1.8 l Glass tray Heat-resistant cling film Ovenproof dish, approx. 30 cm x 18 cm Preparation Peel the apples and slice them finely. Place in the bowl with two tablespoons of sugar and the apple juice. Place on the glass tray and place in the oven. Cover and cook using the indicated settings. Line the ovenproof dish with sponge fingers and drizzle with Calvados. Leave for approx. 10 minutes, then spread the slightly cooled apples and juice on top. Mix the mascarpone with the quark, milk and the rest of the sugar, then pour it over the apples. Sprinkle the crumbled sponge fingers on top.
