58 Braised cucumbers Serves 4 | Preparation time 55–60 (50–55) minutes Ingredients 2 onions | diced 200 g bacon, lean | diced 6 cooking cucumbers (500 g) 400 g sour cream 1 tbsp. fresh dill, chopped 1 pinch of sugar Salt Pepper Accessories: Solid cooking container Accessories: Solid cooking container Preparation Place the onions and bacon in a solid cooking container, cover and cook using the settings indicated for cooking stage 1. Peel and halve the cucumbers. Scrape out the seeds with a spoon and thinly slice the cucumbers. Add the cucumbers and sour cream to the bacon and onions. Season with dill, sugar, salt and pepper and cook using the settings indicated for cooking stage 2. After cooking, season with more salt and pepper to taste and serve. Settings Cooking stage 1 Temperature: 100 (120) °C Duration: 4 (2) minutes Cooking stage 2 Temperature: 100 °C Duration: 15–20 minutes Useful tip You can use salad cucumbers instead of cooking cucumbers.
