54. Miele Steam Ovens - DG Steam cooking is undoubtedly the healthiest way to cook. It’s also so gentle that you can simply “set and forget” without having to constantly supervise, or worry about overcooking or burning your food, giving you more time to spend doing the things you love. What’s special about Miele steam ovens is that they utilise external steam generation for precise temperature control and rapid heat-up time. Offering a temperature range from 40⁰C - 100⁰C, you’ll be able to cook a large selection of recipes; from porridge to risottos and grains, whole fish and delicate seafood, to the perfect crème brûlée or sticky date pudding. Change the way you cook, whilst enjoying the ultimate versatility and convenience. Steam Utilises external steam generation to produce a consistent temperature within the steam oven cavity. No element or fan is used in this function. Perfect for low temperature cooking by locking in moisture and retaining vitamins and minerals in foods. Maximum temperature is 100°C, no browning will occur. Best used for grains, vegetables, meats, seafood, puddings and custard based desserts. Available in all steam ovens and combi steam ovens. Sous-vide Is a gentle cooking method, where food is cooked at a constant low core temperature in vacuum sealed bags. No moisture is evaporated during the cooking process and all nutrients and flavours are retained . Suitable for meats, seafood, fish, poultry, fruits and vegetables. Available in selected steam ovens and all Generation 7000 combi steam ovens. Automatic Programmes Are pre-set for optimal results with minimal direction. Including baked goods, meats and vegetables.
